>> Resume > Articles > Book
My name is Kevin Meltzer, and I have been a Perl programmer since
the early 1990s.
I have used Perl for everything from CGI and system
administration to database migrations and report
generation.
I am the author of the very popular book "Writing CGI Applications with
Perl".
I have also been published in The Perl Journal, and was the
judge of their annual Perl Poetry Contest. As well, I have been
published on technical websites such as InformIT. I have written various articles on the topic of Perl.
I am a well known and respected member of the Perl community. Not only
do I release Open Source Perl modules to the public, I am on The Perl Foundation Steering
Committee, and was the main coordinator of the Yet Another Perl
Conference in 2003.
My resume is available here, which
gives a good idea of my experience with Perl, the community, my
writings and skills. As well as my current articles.
I am located near Saratoga Springs, NY, but can do work worldwide.
